It crashes in QtDBus itself, not tp-qt4, although it does not crash
everytime I try.

Right, if telepathy-qt4's spec/ directory differs from the official
language-neutral one in telepathy-spec then that's a bug.
tp-qt4 spec is a verbatim copy of the official spec.
