I am running fedora 10 on an intel machine with Realtek ALC 885 audio controller. I have the alsa drivers working fine.
Using the test application, when I try to make a call from tp caller to a gtalk client (on the other side), the call goes fine. The audio is going out from tp caller to the gtalk client. But, the other way is not working. My speaker and microphone are working fine (I think with ALSA drivers). When I run this gst-launch audiotestsrc ! queue ! audiotestsink I am getting a warning WARNING: erroneous pipeline: no element "audiotestsink" When I run gst-launch audiotestsrcI get the following Setting pipeline to PAUSED ... Pipeline is PREROLLED ... ERROR: from element /GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstAudioTestSrc:audiotestsrc0: Internal data flow error. Additional debug info: gstbasesrc.c(2458): gst_base_src_loop (): /GstPipeline:pipeline0/GstAudioTestSrc:audiotestsrc0: streaming task paused, reason not-linked (-1) ERROR: pipeline doesn't want to preroll. Setting pipeline to PAUSED ... Setting pipeline to READY ... Setting pipeline to NULL ... Freeing pipeline ... I do not know much audio specifics. Hope I gave the info you wanted. Is there any fix for this? That bug isn't related to your problem, you're not using telepathy-stream-engine etc ;) > I am pasting the log for the scenario. What's the client on the other side? Does gst-launch audiotestsrc ! queue ! audiotestsink on the machine give you feedback from its microphone? Sjoerd -- Ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny.
