This is the first prototype release of telepathy-fargo, "the Gateway to the West" [1]. It supports:
* gatewaying XMPP calls to SIP, and SIP calls to XMPP (limited to one audio stream and no video) * clustering multiple ejabberd servers, each with its own Fargo instance telepathy-fargo is a gateway between XMPP and other protocols. It can currently gateway VoIP calls between XMPP and SIP; the goal is that in future it will gateway presence, text messages and VoIP between XMPP and any protocol that has a Telepathy connection manager. The current focus is getting SIP working for Jingle calling in an efficient, scalable way. The to-do list is kept in Bugzilla as the 'fargo' component: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&product=Telepathy&component=fargo&bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED Tarball: http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/releases/telepathy-fargo/telepathy-fargo-0.1.0.tar.gz Signature: http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/releases/telepathy-fargo/telepathy-fargo-0.1.0.tar.gz.asc The latest reviewed code is always available from: git://git.collabora.co.uk/git/telepathy-fargo.git http://git.collabora.co.uk/?p=telepathy-fargo.git (gitweb) Regards, Simon [1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fargo,_North_Dakota
