This is a known problem. The solution is to use the git version of
gst-plugins-good and the attached patch (to empathy.. well to the file
which is in /usr/share/empathy).

Guillaume: Btw, can we put this patch in both empathy master and in the
next 2.28 release.

This is a bug in Google Video which triggers a bug in Gabble. But it
should be harmless in this case (gabble bug is
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25933)
