It is still not perfect because the effect of literal tabs depends on the output device. It still doesn't line up for -Thtml, -Tps, and -Tpdf. But i agree that simply using a single tab is nicer than using just a single blank since it lines up at least for terminal output, which is the most important output device. Yours, Ingo
