The diff looks good to me and the only remark I have is that
catalog/README should be updated as well.
This is not necessary, since the entire catalog directory can be
removed, as per my comment below. But that seemed like a rather big diff
for such a simple thing.
Nobody objected publicly in over a month, so I'd be in favor of
committing this.
