  It is really hard to do that -- there are a lot of files involved.
  But, feel free to send patches!

  Becuse checksums are not calculated unless the capture is complete,
so one can't tell the difference between:
   1) invalid
   2) valid
   3) not enough data

  Again, if scripts want a stable format, then we need a field=value format.
