No you can continue to use it, this is what I was saying and please note I am only giving an example and not talking about you or your phone. If I bought a new handset and used my Talks licence code from the old one in the upgrade, then I gave or sold my old phone to someone who wanted one with Talks, that person would not subsequently be able to get a Talks transfer on the phone they obtained from me. However, what I say next is true. I got my first Talks through Vodafone for free. When that screen opens you can arrow up or down and you will hear Talks tell you the long IMEI number and the Talks Code. Actually you will also have to give the RNIB the IMEI of that phone also.
