This has been how it has popped up from day one even in my home area. I'm open to more suggestions. When i use the dictinary and set it to global i get the behavior you describe that's what i'm trying to not get smile. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brad Keller" <[email protected]>

The only way you may be able to do this is via the dictionary but then when talks encounters the word "home" it's going to say "straight talk" instead. It was suggested to me that this may be the way it acts because it has a roaming icon that pops up when out of your home area. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dennis long " <[email protected]>

Yes I think that is the case! It sounds like he may be hearing the word Home
and would like to hear the word Straight Talk . So when he presses Talks
followed by SoftKey2 he would hear something like the following.
Network 5 bars, Straight Talk, Battery 4 bars. Instead of
Network 5 bars, Home, Battery 4 bars.

Straight Talk is a cell provider in the US, but I'm not sure what Dennis
is asking. Maybe when checking his network status, he wants to hear
Straight talk, the name of the network he's on, instead of just network.
