I think you got the model wrong! The N72 is a old 2nd Edition phone and will not work with the latest version of Talks. If the phone has a qwerty keyboard on it; Then you may have a E72 which is a 3rd Edition phone. That sounds more like what you may have and will run the latest version of Talks 5.22.3. However if you did get a old N72, then I would return it and tell them that isn't a current model and that they miss marketed it.

Subject: [Talks] Accessible application for Nokia N72

Hello

I just got a new handset, Nokia N72 from a local shop and installed the latest version of Talks. I found Talks works really fine, while I felt previously a little disappointed to E6 with touch screen.

More importantly, I can work with these applications and I think here should be a good place for me to share my experience. I can work with Skype and Fring of course, but Windows Lives messenger makes me a little confused how to sign in.

Colleagues who still have Nokia N72 and find which application is useful, could you please share me some experience? My firmware version is 081.003. I'm not quite sure indeed whether Nokia has launched the new firmware for N72 recently or not.

Yours, Eakachai
