Did you try switching to the 16KHZ version of Eloquence? This is done from
within the speech tab of Talks on the speech option. Select it and then
arrow to Eloquence 16KHZ and select it. See if that makes a difference.
Warning! The Eloquence volume will be lower so you may need to raze the
Talks volume factor to offset the lower volume in Eloquence. The volume
factor is in the Audio setting of Talks which is found on he Options menu
when you press SoftKey1.

Subject: [Talks] nokia e5 firmware update? and talks question
hi everyone.
today i got a brand new e5 for christmas, i'm really happy and impressed
with the phone's speed to open things,navigate pages in the browser,
etc.
i'd like to know if i can update the software to the latest version,the
version that came with my phone is very outdated i think.. it was last
updated in may, and there are lots of updates i think, so what do you
all think? if you have a e5, are you using the latest version?
my next question is related to talks, i've registered a 10 day demo for
talks 5.22.3(i'll be getting the legal version in 5 days or so) but
eloquence is definitely not good, i thought that my phone's speakers
were damaged or something,but when playing music it works flawlessly,
and with eloquence it seems, hmm, distorted or something, i tried to
change the options in the áudio settings of talks, it's better but not
perfect, any suggestions of what can be done to fix this sound issue?
