On SysV we set up a terminal/serial interface on our motion-controllers using
/etc/inittab, see below.
/etc/inittab
# How to put a getty on a serial line (for a terminal)
T0:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyS0 115200 vt100
I have made a few attempts to do this with systemd none have worked. All
assistance is much appreciated.
