This has been dealt with a few times on this forum, but I cannot find

How can I save my divelog to a local git repository?
Sound like a good candidate for the FAQ.
Just like saving to a file but put the name of the desired repo
between brackets.
Eg:
- create a folder named "divelog_git"
- in subsurface, select "save as", move to the new folder, and name
the file [Willem].
I'm unable to remember if the repo needed to be manually created with
git before 2nd step, but I think it didn't.
Best regards.
Salva.
Salva,
Thanks very much. I tried this and it says "Unable to open git repository".
Kind regards,
willem
