Quick update, I pushed the revert to the Subsurface-branch of libdc and updated the reference in Subsurface master (Linus, my email to you about reverting that commit may have gotten lost in the noise of the merge window, so I just did this myself)
For schedule reasons I will give it a couple more days and release 4.7.7 on Friday or possibly Saturday. So please test the continuous build binaries and let us know if you find issues. Between now and the 4.7.7 let's please try not to include new strings so that the translators have a chance to catch up. Of our major languages most are at 100% right now, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian, and Chinese are missing the last few strings. Swedish, Russian, and Hebrew have fallen a bit behind - they used to be complete as well.
