Subsurface worked flawlessly with Proxy until some releases ago Actually the machine that has this problem it's the one you describe above. Then when I bring it in my office I have to use the Proxy and since I had that proxy set I was not able to connect to the cloud anymore eben removing it. I was getting the same errors with the wi-fi adapter. So I went with the USB tethering.
