OK, let's call that "disappointing". Or maybe an interesting feature.

On all of my devices the GPS screen looks fine. Admittedly, there is some 
overlap on the smaller screen, so I'd like to make sure I understand what you 
mean by "wonky". Can you send a screen shot of the GPS screen?
