Go to folder preferences and disable Sent Subfolders. Then fix your Sent folder setting. sent_subfolders plugin has issues with mbox mailboxes in stable SquirrelMail versions. Plugin is more stable when used with mailboxes that allow to store messages and subfolders. Ask your system administrator to configure interface correctly.
