We are using dovecot with SSL connections without TLS. Can squirrel mail connect to this (on another computer)? All the documentation seems to require TLS to be turned on but we don't want this. There does not seem to be any SSL only configuration options. How can I check to see if my PHP (version 5) supports OpenSSL which I assume is required? We are using Centos 4.4 on the web server and RHEL 4 on the mail server.
