I seem to be getting an error contacting the local LDAP server for my
address book. I had my mail server die so I just copied all the
squirrelmail files to my new server. I went through the config and
setup the new ldap address book, however when I click on 'addresses'
through the 'compose' link I get the error:
"Error initializing LDAP server localhost: [CMC-Flex] Can't contact
LDAP server"
The strange thing is that I give the ldap server a different name
(different from localhost) - so I wonder if it's still looking for
the old ldap server?
I'm using SM 1.4.5
php v4.4.0
apache 2.0.54
openldap
Any help would be appreciated.

Other possible causes, unrelated to squirrelmail:
* You have multiple interfaces and ldap server is accessible only on one
of them, you are connecting to the wrong interface / address.
* You have a firewall and have not allowed connection to that address
* LDAP service is bound to other interface than the one you are trying
to connect to, e.g. you bind to localhost and try to connect to external ip.
A combination of the above is also possible of course.
