{CRYPT} format can use four different hashing algorithms. Plugin should
work with DES, MD5 and one variation of Blowfish crypt.
"We could not retrieve your old password from the LDAP server" error means
that script could not find password field in search results.
Write password field name in lowercase. Check your slapd ACLs. Add
$debug=true; to your config.php and check array printed before error
message.
