Hi All! I'm in trouble to handle big folders with SM. I'm using SM 1.5.1, courier imap, jfs, php 4.4 on slackware. So everithing is woring just fine, but if I'm trying to thread sort the folder (with 22k mails) it is giving strange errors after 2minute or so. The server side sorting, and threading is enabled of corse. So if the errors happen, checking with lsof I'we seen that the imapd is running of about 5-6 minutes longer doing something with this big folder (I guess it is sorting), and then finishes work. The SM is doing the same every time: errors after 2 minutes, leaving running imap process for 5-6minutes. No imap errors in the logfiles.
I'm wondering, that are mail folders with hundreds of thousand messages supported by SM anyway? Or are such folders supported by imap? What if I have a folder with years of mailing and 2.5 million email? Does anybody have experience with such mailing and imap/SM?
