Uh, what format? We've not changed any format of the config.php since
I've been on the project since SM 1.2.6. We may have added a few more
options, but I don't believe the format has changed at all.

The only exception to that rule I can think of is the $plugins array,
we no longer put a # in the array number, but leave it to just add
itself. This makes moving them around a lot easier, but if you left
the numbers in, it still won't hurt you. With that being said, I don't
even think this was done in the stable branch. I have been using the
same configuration file since at least 1.4.2 on my 1.4 branch, and
even use just a minutely modified one for my 1.5 branch.

We changed the default to be /var/local/squirrelmail to be more inline
with the linux directory structure "standards".
