[SM-USERS] too many messages in inbox?

Hi. I've got a big problem with the number of messages that squirrelmail can handle.
It turns out that in my server squirrelmail can't open a folder with more than 2000 messages. Well, that's not an exact number. Sometimes it's 1900 and sometimes 2100, but anyway, i've got some costumers with more than 3000 messages and the can't get to read them.
In the sessions with less than 2000 messages, everything works smoothly, i'm actually king of surprised, but with that number of messages it doesn't work at all. You can see the left frame page but on the right frame you can only see a "Page not found" error. When i try to do it with firefox, for example, it asks me whether i want to download the righ_main.php.

I've been seeking whitin the php code but found nothing about that.
If somebody could help me out here....
