Please try to keep the reply format the same... It makes following threads so much easier. Unless your SMTP server accepts blindly, then processes the information, and bounces back an error, you shouldn't be getting this message. You should be given a notification on attempts to send that you were not permitted, rather than a notification at a later point. > when i go to smtpd log, everything looks fine: > Feb 3 21:48:05 xxxx postfix/smtpd[4603]: > localhost[127.0.0.1]: 235 > Authentication successful What's after this? There should be one for the rejection too, that might give a little more detail. Have you tried removing the reject_sender_login_mismatch option just to test? - -- Jonathan Angliss <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (MingW32) iD8DBQFD5D1dK4PoFPj9H3MRAqj5AKCBhdwaDc+Fxq7IyVxMQBEboGMT0gCaA/pO zRVhbq4lz0glfyM8qSUSGeE= =nomN -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
