Title: [SM-DEVEL] Squirrelmail and php 5.5.1

Hi Clóvis!,

Thanks for your information, I will read the knownbugs and will try to solve applying an updated patch (if required). A friend of mine, told me that PHP, applies some kind of protection to block large request consume the server resources. (Is this true?).

I will keep reading some text, if someone else had this problem review some configuration.

Regards,

Hi Harold,

See this link:

http://www.squirrelmail.org/wiki/KnownBugs. PHP 5.1 section.

Use 1.4.6-rc1 or apply fixes in SquirrelMail sqimap_append() function.
1.4.6-rc1 is stable enough. It contains more fixes than 1.4.5 and
intrusive changes only add features that are designed to fix broken
things. If it has issues, I bet that these issues are present in 1.4.5
too.

Hi to all!,

It’s a pleasure to write to you to ask for assistance, I have a really strange problem with SM, my mail server is Qmail and I use SM to check it using the web browser using IMAP. Some of my mail users, store their keep a copy of their mail at the my server to review them online. But yesterday one of these users told me that he was unable to read e-mail using the web interface. He able to login, and SM loads the webpage to show the e-mails, it also loads the left side, show the folders and quantity new e-mails but the right panel is not loaded (loads in blank)!!!!.

So do you have some experience with this behaviour???, Comments, suggestions or help is welcome,

Thanks!

Hi to all,

today i've upgrade to php 5.1.1 on my freebsd core.

Squirrelmail 1.4.5 doesn't work well.

When i send an e-mail i've this message: Server responded: Missing literal in APPEND

The mail is sent, but it is not saved in mailbox "Sent" and it is displayed before message.

Somebody can tell me how can i resolve this problem?

Which squirrelmail's version i must use with php 5.1.1?

Which configuration?

thanks in advance
