SquirrelMail can't use Secure IMAP (TLS) on tcp/143 http://www.squirrelmail.org/docs/admin/admin-5.html#ss5.4 If you want to use Secure IMAP (TLS), you must modify IMAP port and Secure IMAP (TLS).
