I've been running SM for several years, and in the last few weeks, have upgraded the server and SM (to 1.4.4). Apache is at 2.0.50, and PHP is 4.3.8. All recent patches have been applied.
Under Mandrake 10.1, I'm running a Cyrus IMAP server, fed by Fetchmail from my ISP, RoadRunner. I'm using RR's SMTP server to handle my outgoing mail from SM. Mail is getting to Cyrus just fine, and I can forward small attachments -- less than 3.4 Meg. I can attach and mail large attachments, I just can't forward them. The symptoms are that I can select the checkbox beside the message on the main screen and click the forward button. It thinks about it for a couple of seconds, then updates the status bar to "Done." There are no visible error messages or warnings. When I check the error log, I see something like: Allowed memory size of 11xxxxxx bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes) (memory size above was 11M - I didn't write down the last 6 digits) I have searched the documentation and the archives, and have increased the limit for memory_limit to 11M, post_max_size to 9M, and upload_max_filesize to 8M. I also updated the limitrequestbody to 8M, also. I restarted the server after making these changes. SM doesn't appear to be timing out - after I click the forward button it comes back in only about 5-10 seconds, and I have the timeout set to 120 seconds. As I noted earlier, I can save the attachment that's too large to forward, then attach it and send it without problems. I can forward smaller (1.5M or less) attachments, at least until I try the large (3.4M) message. After trying that, no message with attachments will forward. When I go to attach a file to a message, SM notes that the maximum filesize is 8M. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
