Hi everyone, Well after seeing a comment about PHP not being upto date on a prior post, I did a full system update.. and I still get this error when composing/posting a message:
Request Entity Too Large The requested resource /mail/src/compose.php does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit. PHP 4.3.9 (PHP.Ini has 32m memory allocated) UW Imap 2004a Openssl 0.6.7e Apache 2.0.52 Running on FC1. All built from scratch. Two days ago I did the update to the latest everything on the FC1 box which is my primary server.. and all of the usual tweaks to the php.ini file, apache, imap, ssl, etc.. all to no avail. I have another machine running FC2 at home and PHP 5.02 and all of the above installed as well and see the same problem there too. I have this error show up on all of my machines over the course of time running different OS and browsers - IE 5.0, IE 6.0 with the latest service packs, Mozilla 1.7, Konqueror, Netscape 4.7, 7.0, Safari, and Opera 7, The only way to clear the error once it occurs in the browser is to close all instances of the browser and reopen the mail. This also only happens on SM. I can do IMAP from any mail client I have and it works fine. I had a different webmail program on the machine prior to installing SM and never saw this problem in 3 years of running the box (805 days uptime prior to the upgrade!). It showed up only with the installation of SM. Upgrading to FC1 did not fix it.
