Hi all,
I did a quick check on the list archives and I did not see this posted - although I have a feeling it has been beaten to death. I'm the computer guy at a school district in Vermont and I am trying to get away from 4D WebMail and install SM on an OS X client box. I have used SquirrelMail on other systems before and it looks really nice. I found a number of installation guides on squirrelmail.org but I am having problems. I am not very unix savy but I followed the directions as best as I could, including downloading the latest version of PHP. When I go to myaddress.com/webmail I see a directory listing. When I try to open the PHP file from a web browser I get an empty file. I know I must have missed important steps but don't know where to start. Does anyone know of a good guide for me to work from? The ones I have found from the SM web page basically say "I got it to work fine by reading the directions" which is not helping me.
Any help would be appreciated.
