Using dovecot-0.99.10.5-1.1.el3, SM 1.4.3a on Redhat 3.0.

We have an organizational requirement to save a copy of all outgoing email from every user.

You do not mention your SMTP server. I would suggest that this is best done there if it is an organization-wide mandate. It can certainly be done in Postfix. If your users use *any* other clients beside Squirrelmail, that is what you must do.


If you only offer SquirrelMail, then you can make sure all users' outgoing messages get put in their sent folder: conf.pl->3 Folder Defaults->7 By default, move to sent

If that doesn't do it for you, you can look at the Auto CC plugin:

But you will need to force the pref for this to be the same as the user's email address, which may need to be done manually or by modifying the force_prefs plugin a bit.
