1. Latest squirrelmail version can use v3 ldap binding. option was added before v.1.4.3rc1. There is no need to add allow_v2 option in slapd.conf if you are using squirrelmail 1.4.3something or 1.5.something. 2. recheck your ldap address book config. LDAP connection consist of several commands. Some command failed.
