Hi All,

Thanks in advance for reading this

I am running squirrelmail 1.4.1, UW-IMAP, IMAP PROXY
(up-imapproxy-1.2), Apache 1.3.27, PHP 4.2.3 on my Web
proxy server which has Linux 9.0 as O.S.

My email users are Linux users. We have around 5
Internal mail servers. All servers have Linux 9,
sendmail and using UW-IMAP.
Users connect to Web proxy to access their mailbox.

I am supposed to make users be able to change their
passwords via webmail.

checked out in the squirrelmail plugins page and
downloaded change_pass-2.6-1.4.x.tar.gz which will
work with PAM.
I've done all the required changes as sugggested in
INSTALL and README.
Also installed poppassd 1.8.4 on the mailserver. Pls.
note that I've not installed poppassd on the webmail
itself.

If I telnet to the mail server on port 106 from
Webmail, it works perfectly. It changes the user
password of that mailserver. But thru' Web Interface,
it doesn't allow to change the password. It gives an
error as:

ERROR:Connection refused (111)

So far, no problems with another plugins.
I'm using following other plugins:
multilogin, compatibilty, squirrelspell etc.

Can anyone help me to resolve the problem? or else let
me know if any other method to do this?

thanks!
