That did the trick!  The parameter WAS there already (commented out), but
it took a text search in vi to find what my eyeballs had missed.

I believe this is because Apache believes it's hostname is localhost since
it can't find a valid domain name for itself.  Try editing http.conf
(should be in /etc/http/conf) and specifying the hostname or ip address
like this:

ServerName sqmail.dns-or-ip.com

restart Apache and see if that does the trick.
