Hi, My host has changed my ip address and I am getting the error about default prefs. I had this before when I first installed but it resolved itself. Now since I've changed IP addresses it is back again, is it because of that change? Do I need to change my ip address somewhere to the newer one? Thanks!! :)
Your host IP address has nothing to do with the permissions for your prefs file. Something else has changed, and you should either ask what that is or just visit the SM site and/or the mailing list archives, where there are plenty of ideas on how to fix the problem.
