courier has to be compiled with --enable-unicode option or you should disable server side sorting, threading and charset search options in conf.pl -> General Options. This is not squirrelmail bug, unless you can reproduce it with conf.pl -> 4. General Options 11. Allow server thread sort : false 12. Allow server-side sorting : false 13. Allow server charset search : false You don't need filters plugin to get that warning. Just enable server side sorting and try sorting your message listing by subject or sender.
