I had the same problem. I changed all the users to "wheel" group and everything starting working fine. However, this is just a quick and dirty way of solving the problem. Please let us know if some one has better solution.

MTA: postfix 2.0.19 – configured with virtual domains and virtual users stored in mysql database tables

Courier-imap-mysql: 3.0.3-1.1 (by default it uses port 110 not 143)

 

I’m uncertain how squirrelmail talks to the imap server but the following telnet commands work every time:

 

telnet localhost 110

user [EMAIL PROTECTED]

pass password

list

quit

 

Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
