Hi Gurus, I am currently migrating my mailboxes in an old server to a new one. I tar-ed the respective users mailbox in /var/spool/imap/user into userName.tar.
I copied these tar files to the new server and un-tar-ed the mailboxes into the same location. Everything was setup exactly the same. After logging in to my account I noticed that the manually created folders were missing! Even after editing the userName.sub file in /var/lib/imap/user/* to include the folder names, the folders still couldn't be viewed. What did I do wrong? Many Thanks for any help!
