I first installed squirrelmail-1.4.1 together with qmail-1.03, vpopmail-5.3.4 and courier-imap-1.7.3 where everything seemed to work as it should . Last week I installed squirrelmail-1.4.2 since it was recommended that all production sites upgraded. Now I have strange problems using squirrelmail.
1. The Special Folders concerning Trash, Sent and Drafts don't show up until you go into Folder Preferences and click "Save"
2. If you delete the first mail in the Inbox, squirrelmail craps out in the Inbox with the line: "Error in IMAP command received by server" and you can't enter the Inbox any more. Any other folder still works. Even if you log out and in again you can't enter the Inbox. However if a new mail has arrived it works again to enter the Inbox until you delete the new mail.
I downgraded to 1.4.1 and the problem was gone. The mail server is not in production yet since I thought I would do extensive testings first. Anyone have any ideas what can cause these problems?
