As I suspected, your IMAP server is UW IMAP, and you do have
LOGINDISABLED. To fix it, you'll need to recompile UW-IMAP to support
the normal LOGIN method. PHP doesn't allow for us to support STARTTLS,
so that option isn't available for us.
