     Welcome!

     If I remember correctly, there have been patches/plugins to
     extend Address Book functionality that have crossed the lists
     in the past.

     If you can't find 'em on the plugins page of the website, try
     searching the mailing list archives for the plugins list.

     As Jonathan said, though, we haven't quite extended the core
     Address Book code yet.
