Jimmy,

Not quite sure if I understand your problem, but I'll give it a bash.

So you have two boxes: a main win2k server and a second server running the SM server? What setup does it have?

As far as time is concerned this is how I understand SM to work:
- The clock in the top left is running off your client computer (the one you use to view SM).
- The time stamp added to your outgoing is generated by server and so uses the time on that box.

If you are having problems keeping the system time correct, there are a large variety of freeware and shareware time sync that can help you. Google is your friend.

I noticed that your email also does not have a proper header. It has no date field. It has a X-te field with the date in it, but no date field. This only seems to affect some picky email clients (Mozilla Mail), but others (Outlook and SM itself) seem to cope. The clients that can't cope will display the Date as 01 Jan 1970 11:00AM or something similar.

I had this trouble too. I believe that this is caused by the addition of the name in the outgoing date field: "(Hora est. del Pacífico de SA)". To correct this, I had to edit the smtp code to remove the brackets. I am not sure whether the "."[dot] is acceptable either. I'm not sure whether it is a Windows Things, or a Because It's Running On Windows Thing, or just a coincidence (I'm running Win2k Pro).

HTH,
Jeremy

My SM system always seems to have a different date and time. I set up the system with the same time and date from the server but just shows the
time.
