As someone else has already mentioned, the above two args are where your
problems are. Your asking the proxy to proxy to itself. Most probably,
you'd want to change the 'server_port' directive to the real port in which
your Courier installation is having its IMAP daemon listening to.

The proxy processes would look like '[in.imapproxyd]' when started from the
bootscripts.
