Hopefully someone might be able to shed some light on what might be
happening here.

I have SM running on a server here for customers to be able to check their
mail remotely, etc.

For some accounts, it seems as if SM is keeping a cache somewhere of the
mail. For instance, if I logon onto the mail server, an account has 0
messages waiting, the mail file is 0 K. and there is no POP lock running for
that UN, so the account is not being checked currently.

Logon through SM, and it shows that there are about 60 messages waiting to
be read on the account.

It is not a local cache problem, as I have tried on my machine, which had
never check for mail for the specific account, and got the same results.

Any one have any ideas of what might be happening?
