looking through the archives, i didn't see anything about this problem with squirrelspell. when i click on check spelling the popup window says something to the effect of "I tried to run 'ispell -a' but it returned:" and then on the next line nothing!! just the close button. i do have ispell installed on the server machine (ispell version 3.1.20) on RedHat Linux 6.x, running Apache 1.2.x, and PHP 4.x. SquirrelMail version 1.2.11 running bug_report, squirrelspell, message rules, and spam filter plugins for now. i'm still in the process of trying to get this thing running so any help would be greatly appreciated... btw, very slick script yall.. nice work! :-) thanks. jonathan
