Is there a step that needs to be completed for first setup of
squirrelmail other than loading it (obviously) and running perl
/var/www/http/webmail/config/conf.pl?

I took a peek at the down and dirty directions under the FAQ section on
the website and outside or loading from rpm (on Mandrake 9) I've done
everything else it says to do... but when I try to connect to my
/webmail directory I get a page that says

<?php

/**
 * index.php -- Displays the main frameset
 *
 * Copyright (c) 1999-2002 The SquirrelMail Project Team
 * Licensed under the GNU GPL. For full terms see the file COPYING.
 *
 * Redirects to the login page.
 *
 * $Id: index.php,v 1.13 2002/02/19 15:05:03 philippe_mingo Exp $
 */

header("Location: src/login.php\n\n");
exit();

?>

manually going to /webmail/src/login.php is even better... non-rendered
php. What did I apparently miss here?

system is Mandrake 9 running
Postfix-1.1.11-4mdk/Apache-1.3.26-6.1mdk/PHP-4.2.3-1mdk/IMap-2001a-9mdk

Thanks
Anthony
