Greetings, Attached to this email are new versions of the secure_login plugin and the vlogin (virtual host login) plugin. Before releasing them, I'd like to ask that folks give them a try, specifically anyone who might be running a virtual host setup wherein you host everything over SSL connections using a main domain with a single certificate and tack the virtual host names on the end of the main site's URL. (i.e., https://main.domain.com/virtual.host.number.1/mail)
Since I do not host my virtual domains as such, I have no way to test the changes I've implemented, but basically, by using these two plugins together, it should be possible for you to: 1. capture someone who goes to http://virtual.host.number.1/mail (notice NOT secure) and redirect them to https://main.domain.com/virtual.host.number.1/mail by using a special setting in the secure_login plugin (see the setup.php file) 2. once they are at the login page, allow them to enter "jose" and then construct the correct IMAP login (for example, "[EMAIL PROTECTED]") (see the README/config files for vlogin) There are a lot more changes in the new vlogin, most of them having been tested, but feel free to get back to me on anything anyone might find that's broken. Thanks, paul
