This isn't a SM question.  It entirely depends on the underlying
technology and might very well be different between your two hosting
services.  You need to determine if each of them uses maildirs or
mailboxes -- the former will place all of your email into a directory,
each mail in its own file... if they both used this paradigm, you might
have better luck putting the pieces back together, although there might be
some ugly file naming problems (I'm not familiar with that algorithm and
how much it means to your mail server).  The latter places all mail into
one huge file... which may or may not be easy to merge... it all depends
on getting those kinds of questions answered and what kind of access you
can get to those facilities to make the merge happen.  Find out the
technologies behind each of their mail setups and post your question in a
more appropriate place for a better response (or google it; someone must
have done this before).
