Yes, it would be easier from a programmatic point of view if the URL was different (you could even alias them to the same SM installation, but having the different URL would be the good thing). However, it is probably.... um.... somehow possible to get this to work (a tweak to virtual host login plugin) without that. The problem is - are you prepared to write out a configuration script that has usernames and associated IMAP servers AND maintain it (as I'm sure you are aware, students' email addresses aren't horribly static)?
If so, I might be able to take a gander at what it will take and how possible it would be to do this with the Vlogin plugin this weekend. -paul > -----Original Message----- > From: Dimitrios Stergiou [mailto:dste@;intranet.gr] > Sent: Thursday, November 07, 2002 10:52 PM > To: p dont think; [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [SM-USERS] Dirrerent IMAP servers based on usernames? > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > On Thursday 07 November 2002 06:16 pm, p dont think wrote: > > The Vlogin (virtual host login) plugin can do that on a per-host > > (per-domain) basis.
