Sounds more like a networking issue than Squid. Things to check: * Is your Internet link overloaded? * Is there any possibly relevant messages in /var/log/messages on the Squid server? * Anything reported in Squid cache.log? * Any packet loss/errors reported by the network interfaces on the Squid server? (netstat -i, ethtool, etc..) * Do the proxy server and switch agree on networking paramaters? (half/full duplex etc...). Regards Henrik
