The simplest way to test if it's window scaling biting the host (or to be correct it's firewall) is to disable window scaling. echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_window_scaling The sysctls have changed somewhat since the lwn.net article was written many years ago. Regards Henrik
